Why Use RGF’s REME® Technology?

The REME HALO LED™ is the industry’s first LED in-duct, whole home and building air purification system that is both mercury free and verified zero ozone. The REME HALO LED™ proactively treats every cubic inch of air-conditioned space, reducing airborne and surface contaminants and pollutants. By combining REME LED™ UV technology along with RGF’s proven PHI-CELL® and REME® technologies, the REME HALO LED™ provides revolutionary indoor air purification.

Installed in the air conditioning duct, the REME HALO LED is designed to control microbial contaminants, including airborne and surface bacteria, viruses, and mould. It also reduces smoke, odours, VOC’s, allergens, dust, and particulates. The REME HALO LED™ is the first mercury free, active air purification system certified ‘Zero Ozone’ in accordance with UL-867.

The REME LED™ cell utilises an LED generated, high intensity UV light targeted on a hydrated, quad-metallic catalyst to promote the conversion of naturally occurring water vapour into airborne molecules of Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2). This is a simple oxidation reaction that changes water molecules (H2O) into large numbers of active molecules of H2O2. Molecules of H2O2 that are continually produced and suspended in air are effective at inactivating all types of harmful bacteria, viruses and mould present in the air and on airborne particles.
